Cancellation & refund policy

By paying the deposit, you enter into a contract with Ecotourism Bukit Lawang, confirming that we will provide your booked services (jungle trek, other activities, transport). You may cancel your booking anytime, but be aware that cancellation fees may occur depending on the date of cancellation:

• If you cancel your booking at least 14 days before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded. If you made a full payment, it will be refunded (minus transaction fees). Please be aware that Wise fees or other transaction fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
• If you cancel your booking less then 14 days before your arrival date, the deposit will not be refunded. If you made a full payment, it will not be refunded. 

All refunds will be paid via Wise  (NOT in cash!). 

If you want to change your booked services, please let us know at least 7 days prior to arrival. We will do our best to reorganize your activities. If you inform us less than 7 days prior to arrival, extra fees may occur. Ecotourism Bukit Lawang is not responsible for extra charges due to itinerary changes made less then 7 days prior to arrival. 

If there are any changes in the arrival date, it is the responsibility of the guest to inform Ecotourism Bukit Lawang as soon as possible and to be prepared to cover any extra fees that may occur. Ecotourism Bukit Lawang is not responsible for changes in itinerary due to flight delays or cancellations and extra fees that may occur as a result.

If your booked jungle trek or day tour gets cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as the weather), we will do our best to reschedule it to the next day. If we cannot accommodate this or you do not want to reschedule your booked services and decide to cancel, we will refund the full payment.
