Learn how to cook mouthwatering traditional Indonesian food!
After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at your accommodation by your guide around 9 am ór in the afternoon.
You’ll then be brought to Erna’s Ecofarm or Yeni’s House by becak. Erna and Yeni are our local cooks! At Erna’s Ecofarm you get to do some gardening before starting the cooking class. With Yeni, you’ll visit the local morning market and buy some fresh ingredients needed for your traditional cooking class.
You can choose which two traditional Indonesian dishes with rice (such as curry, rendang, semur, sate, nasi goreng or gado-gado) you’d like to cook. Our cooks will share all their tips and tricks and teach you how to cook with all the Indonesian herbs and spices! Don't forget to take notes during the cooking class if you'd like to have the recipe!
Once your dishes are ready, you get to enjoy them with a fresh juice. A tropical fruit dessert will be served after!
After enjoying your meal, your guide will bring you back to your accommodation.
